UPDATED! It’s been a looong summer term for me. Mine does not only include summer classes, but also tons of CSSC GA’s, event usher-ings, birthday parties and underground meetings (not political). Too bad, there are no swimming outings for me.

  1. Not everyone can appear as a ‘My Girl’ music video model.
  2. There are many unavoidable events.
  3. People remember you when they need something, or they need to know something.
  4. Familiarity breeds contempt.
  5. Filipinos really are sensitive emotional beings.
  6. DVDs are so much better than VCDs.
  7. You can always forgive the world for not recognizing the best effort you exerted.
  8. High school students are not all childish.
  9. It’s good to have a concrete second mother at school.
  10. Birds of a feather flock together.

  6. CSSC, et al. <3 haha.
  7. My new boarding house. <3
  8. My step family.
  9. Close friends, still.
  10. My car. Soon be saying goodbye ’cause Tita June (boarding house lady) disapproves boarders bringing autos.

Things I hated from summer (term):

  1. Unemotional bastards. :))
  2. FOOD. Although Sir Lemence, among others, said that I look better when I’m not skinny. HAHA.
  3. Coke Zero.
  4. The boring ambiance from 1PM to 3PM. Hehe.
  5. The nerve-wracking speeches at Comm3.
  6. The second PC at the Scientia office.
  7. Part-Germans. :))
  8. Dyesebel.
  9. Adobong manok with rice.
  10. Changes in people, especially those unexpected, but affects nearly everyone the vicinity. Vague.

Things I done/attended last summer (term):

  1. Served as one of the head ushers for the batch ‘08 graduation.
  2. Attended an LCC (League of College Council) GA.
  3. Appreciated that Math teachers now call me Jodi instead of Joseph or Daryl.
  4. Went to Lenlen’s birthday partaaaay.
  5. Sang at Marianne’s birthday videoke treat.
  6. Went wild at Titus’ dinner party.
  7. Went to the last CSSC GA/Gelo Ostrea’s birthday treat.
  8. Convened the CS COOL (Council of Organization Leaders) Year Planning.
  9. Parked at the designated parking for the Associate Dean, then for CS Faculty and Staff. :)) Courtesy of Beng.

Issues I indulged/involved myself in BLOOPERS during summer: :))

  1. Slept instead of attending an LCC GA. (Which led to the term ‘jodiabesamis.’ Eg Najo-jodiabesamis ako, meaning feeling sleepy when there’s an upcoming meeting or event. C/O Gabby Valbuena.)
  2. Asked Dr. Roque to make another baby! She told us she wanted to have another son/daughter and I told her to make one. I forgot she’s my teacher. Haha.
  3. Sang Email My Heart at Lenlen’s birthday.
  4. Entered UP Village, looked for Maayusin St., got lost and exited at Katipunan Avenue (with a shock).

  7. Collected PET bottles at the MSP, with affirmation from Dr. Escaner.

Oh yeah. One week then back to school. Don’t matter of I step on the scene or…

No regrets, still.

In your anger do not sin; when you are in your beds, search your heart and be silent. (Psalm 4:4)

This psalm suggest that, rather than venting your worry in outbursts against others, you should examine your own heart. *sigh*

Cultural Presentation

Sorry for not updating very frequently. I was very busy with summer classes especially with PolSc11.

Last Wednesday, we had a cultural presentation where we had to create a play themed ‘Bagong Pulitika.’  Here it is. I also included shots from the actual play.

The story started with Jolu De La Cruz, a farmer, watching Wowowee. He was saddened by the level of poverty he saw on the TV. (Warning: Lots of pictures) (more…)

Happy birthday,

Looking for clear CD cases

Help! I badly need at least five clear CD jewel cases, like the ones found in most album/LPs.

There. I got this picture from the CD-R King website. This is different from the slim cases popular now, and used in CD singles. I already checked six CD-R King branches + almost ten record bars, but they do not have this item.

Anyone willing to sell clear CD jewel cases, please contact me. Also those who know where I can find/buy them. Thank you very much. *sigh*
