After a week of struggle with their new requirements, I renewed my license. Feels so much better. :)
Yay! I would personally like to thank my FOOD Magazine March issue. It is my lucky charm today. Everytime I take it out to read (during long lines in LTO), that would be the time when it’s my turn – my name will be called from the speaker, from the clerk windows, etc. This is proven! To test it, I put it out one arbitrary moment, then immediately I was called to the counter. (Because I missed to fill out some boxes in the form!) Hahaha :))
Exam week, here I come! (The last exam week of undergrad gosh.)

James tagged bored people in his post, and even though I have to study for finals, I chose not to (and emotion’s stopping me) so I’m here banging “Love Sex Magic” hoping for the better. Haha. :P
Here are twenty-five random facts. You may or may not know it, but probably you don’t. :P
1. I got to know Britney Spears through her song “Sometimes” back in Grade 5. Then I found out she had a previous single “…Baby One More Time” and I fell in love. Now, my favorite songs of hers are “I’m A Slave 4 U,” “Gimme More,” and others, while “Sometimes” would probably be at the bottom of my list.
2. I tried shifting to BS HRIM, BS BAA, BS BA and BA Broadcast Comm. when I started with Math 109, which I thought was weird. (It being the foundations of higher mathematics.) Fortunately, I chose to stay in my program.
3. I have different groups of friends which tend to be disjoint from one another. High school friends (Genio), UP Math Club friends (ARUGA, M10 2006), Math major best friends (MMC, PNS, et al.), CSSC circle and KAISA. Ugh, hindi pala disjoint. UP Math Club UP CSSC = Melissa Dy. (With KAISA ba? Hehe. :P)
4. This school year (AY 2008-09) at least twenty people thought I’m in third year when in fact, I am graduating. :D
5. My favorite math subjects in UP would include Math 123 series (Advanced Calculus), Math 162 (Theory of Interest), Math 164 (Life Contingencies) and Math 197 (Finance). My least favorite math subjects would include (but are not limited to!) Math 110.x, where x is odd. (Abstract Algebra)

Oh great. I had eight months. Now we have only eight days and no progress at all. I hate myself for keeping it at all in this level, yet cannot blame myself at the same time for being too in control. I prefer it this way. Just just sad.
Everything sank in when I was alone driving home. Stupid love longs on radio.

Love me, hate me
But can you see what I see
All of the boys and all of the girls
Are begging to if you seek amy
Oh, say what you want about me
Oh, but can you see what I see
1. Door locks: malfunctioning, but still working nonetheless.
2. Planned to go to school Tuesday: color coding, 24 hrs in Makati. I might have to rush again to that 1km Makati strip in C5.
3. Minor fender bender: sign of my incapability? Not.
4. Expired license: Just found at yesterday that my license is expired, thanks to PAL’s form asking for the license number. It’s not too late to renew!
5. LTO’s new renewal requirements: They asked me to present a TIN ID from BIR. “Kahit po istamabay makakakuha non.” Ugh. Ayoko na. Kung hindi pwede, e di hindi.
(I just updated this post and I didn’t know why the heck I have “If U Seek Amy” lyrics up there. Hahaha)

At 11:59PM of March 7, I was still surfing the internet – invisible to everyone in Yahoo and feeling a little low. Perhaps, things in the preceding week happened too quickly and my 21st birthday is appraoching without me noticing until a few hours are left. After some time, I started to receive text messages from people. I didn’t take the moment to reply since I was feeling down, but made after a quick change of heart. (Heck, it’s harder to reply to a group; it’s better to create personalized replies one at a time thoughout the day, I thought.) By 12:30AM, I was not down anymore, but I was confused. Being 21 is not in any way different from being 20. Haha, I thought there’d be a magical transformation in my mind and body – a reason it being most celebrated among other birthday years
I slept early relative to my usual 2:00-2:30AM bed time when at home. I slept with a smile, noticing how my phone almost always lights up in between minutes for another person who remembered my day.
I woke up at around 7:15AM and noticed that my phone has no new messages. I felt a little sad, then fell back to sleep for a little less than fifteen minutes. Waking up again, I checked my phone and it has 11 new messages. Checking the technical details of each message made the conclusion that my waking up at 7:15AM with no new messages in my phone is just a bad dream.
Immediately, I went downstairs and everyone greeted me. We had a quick breakfast, then went to hear the mass. By 11AM, we were on our way to Tito Boy’s house in Paranaque. (He’s celebrating that day, too, having been the new director of the Traffice Management Group (TMG). Congrats, Tito Boy!) They were aware that it was my birthday, too, so it was kind of a double celebration. Except that visitors from the other side of the family do not actually know me. Haha, but who cares, aight? I was too excited to see my cousins again, especially Robin, who was my childhood video game playmate. (Now, we talk about cars. Nah, he talks about cars. I just listen in awe. I know nothing except my plate number which is 100 .) After lunch, we chatted for a while before retiring again to our childhood playground – video games. This time, no more Sega, Nintendo and PS consoles – he has a Wii Console! YAY! It was my first time to play Wii, and it was DA BOMB. Yuhoo, we played tennis, bowling and boxing (surprise!) and with 110% honesty, I say that I had a good time. I also had the chance to talk to the two sisters, Ate Roan and Ate Rose, who turned out to be nicer than I expected. (We don’t used to talk kasi. I just go to the their house to play with Robin and nothing more.)
We went home and quickly upon arriving, everyone was busy (except myself) preparing for dinner. Some very close relatives are arriving.
FAST FORWARD. Okay, by 11:30PM, it’s safe to call the day to an end. I got an old new phone, and some more. Hehe.

So this is how it feels like. :)
Now I try to avoid situations from the past that may threaten me. I go through life like a karate kid.
(Sorry for the vanity. Will start acting my age very very soon.)

Happy birthday, Beng! :D
